My Photographs

In this section of the website is a showcase of my best digital photographs. On the left hand side is a list of categories or themes of photographs that I have taken, my focus being on flowers, nature and landscapes...for the moment! 

I'm always looking for opportunities to create interesting and different images that evoke emotions, always trying to make ordinary things look extraordinary. I want to take photographs of things we see every day and make them beautiful. There is so much beauty in the world that people are 'too busy' to stop and notice, which is what fuels me to go out that are show everyone what an amazing world we have around us.

My weapon of choice in the Samsung NV3. It has 7.2 megapixels, up to 3072x2304 resolution, 3x zoom and a shutter speed of 15 - 1/2000 seconds. I believe that you don't necessarily have to have a huge, expensive, 12 megapixel SLR to get a good photograph, and I hope that comes across in my work.

For the sake of uploading without crashing or causing you guys to wait for 3 months while a photograph loads, all images are sized down to a resolution of around 1024x1200 (depending on the aspect).
