A Little About Me...

My name is Faye Greenslade, i'm 22 and have not long graduated from Bath Spa University. During the three years I have spent there, I took joint Media Communications and Cultural Studies and acheived a 2:1 class degree. Lived most of my life in Bath and spent about five years in Glastonbury growing up. Currently unemployed and hoping to get into the marketing/advertising industry, with aspirations of getting more creative qualifications. One day maybe have my own buisness freelancing in design and/or photography.

I got myself into photography a couple of years ago, taking pictures of anything from landscapes, flowers, architecture and much more. I like to take pictures that express the beauty and wonder of both familiar and obscure objects. I believe that everything in this world has an element of beauty and I like to express that through photography.

I have also created image related projects for friends and relatives. I have created a 'Through the Decades' themed party invitation for a client, improved images than have been worn over many years and experimented with digital manipulations to create different effects. Most or which can been seen on this site.

I also dabble in a bit of artwork when I can, mostly in the form of water colour painting and charchol drawings. I'm a novice so don't expect anything like Van Gogh! But it relaxes me and allows me to output emotions, so I do it for my own pleasure rather than intention of publication.

Also would like to give special thanks to Nick, who helped greatly in the designing of the logo and introducing me to the idea of collaborating images and words. He has his own website which there is a link for on the home page, on which he siplays his amazing talent for poetry and creative writing as well as creative graphic design. More recently i have designed a couple of potential book covers for his poetry works, trying to encompass his personality with the style of his poetry.
